Tip: To measure litter at the center of the box, insert the
scoop & rake cleaner, scoop down, into the center of the
litter tray. The Fill Line on the scoop is even with the MAX
fill line on the tray (L).
Important: Do not overfill unit or it will not operate
properly.
ATTACHING PAW CLEANING RAMP
1. The paw cleaning ramp has two notches that snap onto the paw cleaning
ramp attachment points on the top housing, directly in front of the waste
receptacle compartment cover.
2. Position the paw cleaning ramp with the carpet side facing up.
3. Place the notches into the paw cleaning ramp
attachment points on either side of the unit (M).
4. Tug slightly on ramp to ensure that it is firmly in place.
INSTALLING RAKE
1. Align tracks on back of rake (each end) and slide into
grooves on motor housing (N).
DAILY USE
1. Remove AC adapter from packaging and plug into the
AC adapter outlet at the back of the top housing (P).
Plug cord into a standard electrical outlet.
2. Turn the ON/OFF switch to ON; the green POWER
indicator light will turn on.
Note: The rake will automatically run through a cleaning
cycle to smooth out litter.
Important: Unit will not start CLEANING cycle while cat is in the box.
3. For daily use, your cat enters the litter box. Once it leaves, the motion
sensors will activate CLEANING cycle. (Sensors must be blocked for at least
10 seconds to activate CLEANING cycle.)
4. The ionizer light will be green, indicating that the ionic air cleaner is
working.
5. After 10 minutes, the automatic rake moves forward and back to scoop
waste clumps into the waste receptacle.
Note: If the cat reenters and leaves the litter box before the initial 10 minutes
have past, the timer will automatically reset and delay the rake action for an

additional 10 minutes.
Note: Rake will stop and reverse direction if the safety bar touches any object
behind the rake as it cycles.
Important: If the rake encounters a blockage, it will attempt to complete its
cleaning cycle 5 times. If unsuccessful, the LED light will blink quickly (see
TROUBLESHOOTING for more details).
6. If small litter particles remain in the litter tray after the rake has completed
a cycle, you can use the scoop & rake cleaner to move these particles to the
waste receptacle.
7. If clumps of litter become stuck to the rake, use the teeth on the scoop &
rake cleaner to clean between the teeth on the rake.
8. The disposable waste receptacle will keep odors and waste trapped until
you are ready to replace the receptacle. Once the receptacle is full, remove
and replace as instructed in REMOVING THE WASTE RECEPTACLE.
SETTING THE CLOCK
Note: The display will blink 12:00 until the clock is set; however, the litter box
can operate normally without the clock being set.
1. Set the clock to the time of day by pressing the HOUR button then minute
(MIN) button.
Note: If setting P.M., be sure light in the upper left corner of the display is lit.
PROGRAMMING THE SLEEP TIMER
Sleep mode deactivates the rake cleaning cycle for 9 hours. During this time,
the ionic air cleaner automatically turns on for 10 minutes every hour to
